Dr. Zhao is Vice President of Chengde Central Hospital and Director of cardiovascular medicine, circulatory medicine, and geriatrics department.

She is a member of the psycho-cardiology medicine branch of the Chinese Doctor Association, President of the Geriatric Society of Chengde Medical Association, and Chairman of the cardiovascular Professional Committee of Chengde City.

Dr. Zhao's main research interests are cardiovascular diseases, geriatric diseases, and Psycho-cardiology diseases. She has summarized unique personalized treatment schemes for refractory hypertension, severe coronary heart disease, complex arrhythmia, intractable heart failure, elderly multi-organ diseases, and peripheral vascular diseases.

Dr. Zhao has won a series of national, provincial, and municipal scientific research achievement awards.
