Dr. Ramprasath, is an Assistant Professor at Georgia State University. He is an awardee of the American Heart Association, USA and CSIR, India. He is working on genetic and protein-related factors that cause diabetes and cardiovascular diseases to create new therapies for these conditions. Specifically, his research focuses on targeting the kynurenine pathway to treat vascular diseases. He is  using different animal models of vascular diseases to study the clinically relevant aortic aneurysm.
