Dr. Yongjian Wu currently serves as Director of Coronary Heart Disease Center, Deputy Director of Structural Heart Disease Center, and Director of Coronary Heart Disease Unit at Fuwai Hospital, Chinese Academy of Medical Sciences; He is a Tenured Professor and Doctoral Supervisor at Peking Union Medical College.

He is mainly engaged in interventional treatment and related research of coronary heart disease and valvular heart disease. He is proficient in minimally invasive interventional treatment of complex valvular heart disease, and is one of the experts in China who pioneered transcatheter aortic valve replacement (TAVR) therapy. Serves as an editorial board member for Chinese Journal of Cardiovascular Diseases, Chinese Circulation Journal, and the British journal "HEART", among others.
