Prof. Wu is Associate Director of Cardiovascular Department and Director of the second Cardiac Ward at The First Affiliated Hospital of Guangdong Uni. of Traditional Chinese Medicine. He is on the 4th list of National Chinese Medicine Clinical Talents.

Prof. Wu is Chairman of the Psycho-cardiology Branch of the Guangdong Association of Chinese Integrative Medicine, Managing Director of the Hypertension Committee of the World Federation of Chinese Medicine Society, and Associate Group Leader of the Cardiacprotection Group of the World Federation of Chinese Medicine Society.

He has been engaged in the research of cardiovascular prevention and treatment in traditional Chinese medicine for more than 20 years, focusing on the integrated diagnosis and treatment of cardiovascular diseases (including interventional therapy) and psycho-cardiology. He presided over ten projects of national and provincial scientific research.

Prof. Wu is Editor-in-Chief and Associate Editor-in-Chief of two medical monographs,  participating in nine monographs and textbooks and publishing more than 30 papers in core journals.
