Dr. George Bazoukis works as a consultant cardiologist in the Cardiology Department, Larnaca General Hospital in Cyprus. Also, he belongs to the academic staff of the University of Nicosia Medical School in Cyprus.

His research focuses mainly on atrial and ventricular arrhythmias, risk stratification of sudden cardiac death, channelopathies, heart failure, hypertension, and cardio-oncology. He serves as an Associate Editor in the Journal of Electrocardiology, Clinical Case Reports and BMC Cardiovascular Disorders journals.

Dr. Bazoukis is an author of more than 130 scientific studies in international peer-reviewed medical journals and with a total citation of more than 1100 times.
