Dr. Fabian Sanchis-Gomar was born in Valencia (Spain) on September the 26th, 1978. He has taken both a degree in Medicine and in Physiotherapy at the University of Valencia, Spain. He obtained his PhD from the Department of Physiology at the University of Valencia, Spain. He has recently obtained a position as a Visiting Instructor at the Division of Cardiovascular Medicine, Stanford University School of Medicine. He has published more than 330 articles in peer-reviewed journals, and his current H-index is 46. His main areas of research include cardiovascular research, particularly cardiovascular damage, cardiac fibrosis/remodeling, and arrhythmias associated with exercise, especially focusing on molecular mechanisms of cardiac arrhythmias.
