Dr. Guo is Chief Physician and Doctoral Supervisor, Vice Dean of Fujian Provincial Hospital. As a cardiologist, he is mainly engaged in the diagnosis and treatment of cardiovascular diseases such as heart failure, coronary artery and structural heart disease intervention.

Dr. Guo serves as President for cardiovascular physician branch of Fujian Medical Doctor Association, Chairman for health management branch of Fujian Medical Association, Vice Chairman for cardiology branch of Fujian Medical Association, President of Fujian Federation of Heart Failure Centers, Director of Fujian Cardiology Medical Quality Control Center and Cardiovascular Interventional Therapy Quality Control Center and Fellow of American College of Cardiology (ACC). He is also the author of nearly 30 SCI papers.
