Prof. Tian is Doctoral Supervisor of Nankai University School of Medicine, Visiting Professor and Master Instructor of Tianjin Medical University, and Master Instructor of Tianjin University of Traditional Chinese Medicine. In addition, he served as President of Tianjin 4th Center Hospital, President and Associate Dean of Tianjin Public Security Bureau Ankang Hospital. Prof. Tian now serves as Associate Chairman of the Chinese Medical Doctor Association, Mnaging Director of the Quality Management on Health Service Organization Branch of the Chinese Health Association, Associate President of the Council of the Tianjin Medical Doctor Association, and Honorary President of Internal Cardiovascular Physicians Branch of the Tianjin Medical Doctor Association.

Prof. Tian is the author of over 100 papers and researcher of ten more scientific achievements. He introduced new technology to fill a blank in Tianjin, got two national patents for inventions, and more than ten patents for utility models.

Prof. Tian’s research interests are the prevention and management of coronary heart disease, hypertention, diabetes and metabolic syndrome; complicated cardiovascular and cerebrovascular diseases; dignosis and treatment of elderly patients with chronic heart hailure. He now serves as an Editorial Board Member of Chinese Critical Care Medicine and Chinses Hospital Management.
