He is Member of Psychosomatic Medicine for Chinese Medical Doctor Association, Member of  Chest Pain Branch of China Association for the Promotion of Healthcare Exchanges, Director of the Coronary Heart Disease Intervention Professional Training Base of the Chinese Cardiovascular Disease Interventional Diagnosis and Treatment Technology Training Project, Instructor of China Cardiovascular Disease Interventional Diagnosis and Treatment Technology Training Project Base (Coronary Heart Disease Intervention).

He was awarded the "Shaanxi Provincial Science and Technology Award Third Prize" issued by the Shaanxi Provincial People's Government, the "Second Yan'an Outstanding Scientific and Technological Worker" issued by the Yan'an Municipal People's Government, and a number of Yan'an Municipal Science and Technology Progress Awards.

Dr.Gao is chiefly engaged in interventional treatment of coronary heart disease, and psychological treatment after coronary heart disease intervention. He has studied at Yan'an University, the Fourth Military Medical University of the People's Liberation Army and Keimyung University in South Korea, He is the author of more than 34 medical publications, and has undertaken a total of 7 projects as the first or co-leader.
