Dr. Ren is Associate Chief Physician, Vice Director of Department of Geriatric medicine, Director of Department of General Practice, and Director of National Standardized Training Base for General Practice, The First Affiliated Hospital of Xi'an Jiaotong University. She is also Senior Research Fellow in Monash University.

Dr. Ren serves as National Committee Member of General Practitioners for Chinese Medical Doctors Association, National Committee Member of General Medicine for China International Exchange and Promotive Association for Medical and Health Care, Committee Member of Psycho-Cardiology Committee of Cardiologists for Chinese Medical Doctors Association, Standing Committee Member of Cardiac Rehabilitation Assessment and Control Group of Health Risk Assessment and Control Committee for Chinese Medical Association, Standing Committee Member of Committee of Prevention and Treatment of Chronic Diseases in Northern China for Chinese Geriatrics Society.

She is also Committee Member of the Fourth Geriatric Medicine Committee of Chinese Geriatrics Society, Committee Member of Smart Medical Technology and Management Committee of Chinese Geriatrics Society, Standing Committee Member of Cardiovascular Rehabilitation Committee of Shaanxi Association of Rehabilitation Medicine, Standing Committee Member of the First Committee of Health Management Society of Shaanxi Medical Doctor Association and Standing Committee Member of Prevention and Treatment of Hypertension Committee of Shaanxi Preventive Medicine Association.

She also serves as Editorial Board Member of Chinese Journal of General Practitioners and Chinese Journal of General Practice, and Reviewer of China Medicine Journal and Chinese General Practice Journal.
