Dr. Berezin is Senior Consultant of the Therapeutic Unit of Internal Medicine Department, Professor of Internal Medicine Department, State Medical University, Zaporozhye, Ukraine. His research interests include  Fundamental study of biological markers in cardiovascular and metabolic diseases, extracellular vesicles, stem and progenitor cells, Implementation of visualization procedures and percutaneous cardiovascular interventions, Cardiovascular prevention and rehabilitation as well as Vascular biology and regenerative medicine.

Dr. Berezin serves as Current Editor-in-Chief of Biological Markers and Guided Therapy, J Stem Cell & Regenerative Biology, Biomarkers Journal, Co-Editor of BBA Clinical, Biomedical Research and Therapy, International Journal of Biochemistry & Physiology, and also Current Editorial Board Member of the Journal Cardiology and Therapy, the Journal of Clinical Endocrinology & Metabolism, Frontiers Physiology, and other reputed journals.

He is the author of over 1000 medical publications including 18 books and 35 book chapters, and 230 listed currently on PubMed as of 05/05/22 with a h-index of 35.
