Dr. Guo is Chief Physician at Department of Cardiology, Tongji Hospital of Tongji Medical College of Huazhong University of Science & Technology.

He is a Level-2 Professor, master supervisor, doctoral supervisor, Postdoctoral supervisor and Tongji Scientist as well as an expert in interventional cardiology, cardiac rehabilitation, electrocardiology and molecular heart disease. Dr. Guo is Visiting Professor of the West German Heart and Vascular Center (WHGZ) at University Medicine Essen and postdoctor of National Institutes of Health in the United States.

Dr. Guo serves as Vice Chairman of Chinese Association of Cardiothoracic Anesthesia Precision Medicine, Vice Chairman of Chinese Committee of Cardiac Health and Scientific Exercise and also Vice Chairman of Cardiology Professional Committee for Chinese Aging Well Association. He is Chairman of Hubei Cardiovascular rehabilitation Association and Chairman of Hubei Cardiac Rehabilitation Center League.

Dr. Guo has presided 6 projects of National Natural Science Foundation of China. He is the author of over 110 papers.
